A Celebration of Life! This Mexican holiday traditionally celebrated November 1 & 2 has continued to gain popularity north of the border. Opposite of the fearful ghouls and goblins of our Halloween, Dia de los Muertos acknowledges the fact that death is a constant companion, and an accepted friend. The celebration may begin weeks in advance with preparation, parties, processions, meals always remembering loved ones who have gone. Over the years, Mexican folk art depicting “faces of death” in lighthearted art form of papier machae evolk both laughter and remembrance. Join us in our celebration of life!
